Research Journal

Throughout the term, you are required to submit a weekly blog post vetting, analyzing, and discussing individual sources, and you should explore how these sources intersect with one another.

You may also make note of where you found useful information (specific journals, databases, books, etc.), make note of keywords you used in your searches, as well as detail what you see as the week's successes and frustrations in regard to your research.

You may also use this space to explore ideas for the Thesis Propsectus that is to be completed at the end of the term.

Each journal entry is very informal in regard to both structure and language.  View this as a focused-freewrite. Each post must be a minimum of 300 words, although you may write more if you wish, and should be posted to your blog by each designated due date.
